History

In 1959, with an eye for style and quality, Denis Hope embarked on a journey to bring new exciting labels from Europe to the North West. It all began in a small shop on a prestigious street in Rochdale. As the business grew so did the shop, more than quadrupling in size over the next 25 years. Denis Hope was amongst the first to introduce the likes of Henry Lloyd, Lacoste, Sand, Canali and Aquascutum to the fashion conscious of the North West. It was not only the array of exciting labels that made the shop notorious, but the unrivalled levels of customer service. Both still exist today.

Today's Store

The store, now in the hands of Michael Hope, Denis’ son, continues to go from strength to strength. The shop boasts three departments; a constantly evolving menswear, an outstanding newly refurbished ladies section and an up to date hire department. Arguably another department in its own right, an extensive free in store alterations service is also offered.

Designer Labels

New labels are sourced each season, many of which are exclusive to Denis Hope in the North West. Offering every label the discerning shopper could wish for, labels include: Gant, Ted Baker, Gibson, Sand, La Martina, Simon Carter, Desigual, Save the Queen, Fenn Wright Manson and many more. The most recent and exciting acquisition to the Denis Hope brand portfolio is HUGO BOSS, including both BOSS BLACK and BOSS ORANGE ranges.

It is our aim to continue to bring the finest quality products to our customers, and continue the standards of customer service that have become associated with Denis Hope.
